Producing affordable, ethical, and environmentally conscious goods or supplies has never been easy. Warehousing
Warehouse operations have changed, which means warehouse management must change as well. Capacity challenges with warehouse space utilization, increases in SKU counts, operational challenges in the e-commerce and omni-channel realms, along with rising fulfillment costs and labor shortages, are only some of the challenges modern warehouse operations encounter. Additionally, warehouses face capacity and fulfillment cost challenges—and it’s not going to get easier. Global e-commerce retail sales have consistently grown by 17% to 20% year over year, reports Digital Commerce 360.
